About HiveTech — Our Story & Team
HiveTech began with Alex Matthews' conviction that technology should make work clearer and more productive, never more complicated. In 2025 Alex founded the company to build a practice rooted in craftsmanship: thoughtful engineering, attention to detail, and a refusal to choose short-term convenience over long-term reliability. From the beginning we've focused on real-world results — measurable uptime improvements, fewer support interruptions, and faster recoveries — rather than buzzwords. That practical mindset shapes our proposals and the way we operate day-to-day.
Central to HiveTech's approach is a commitment to plain, honest communication. Technical choices are explained in straightforward terms, trade-offs are laid out openly, and roadmaps are presented so expectations are understood from the outset. That mindset shaped the company's culture — a team that values clarity, accountability, and doing the right technical work for the long run. We make documentation and runbooks available so teams have a clear record of changes and a reliable path to restore services when needed.
Today HiveTech continues to deliver top‑tier services by combining modern cloud and security practices with a human-first perspective. The focus remains the same as day one: pursue technical excellence, speak plainly, and build durable, maintainable systems that stand the test of time. We measure success by reduced incidents, smoother upgrades, and client confidence — and we prioritize long-term partnerships over quick wins.
